Virtual Meet the Author: Karyn Buxman

Join us for a lunchtime webinar with guest author, Karyn Buxman, where we'll discuss her book, "Lead with Levity: Strategic Humor for Leaders." Among leaders, humor is a highly desirable trait, but is a frequently overlooked strategy. Research shows that humor can build teams, strengthen relationships, decrease stress, foster creativity, improve leader likeability, and can provide a competitive business edge. "Lead with Levity" provides leaders at every level with the skills to harness humor so that you—and those you lead—can build resilience, enhance communication, and boost engagement. Discover how to utilize humor even if you’re not funny; how to use humor to inspire and motivate; how humor can enhance creativity; and how to keep humor from blowing-up in your face! When humor occurs by chance it’s entertainment. But when you use humor by choice—you get results.

Marketing Roundtable

Every third Wednesday of the month | 8:00-9:00am | Complimentary Continental Breakfast Registration Required* No profession has been changed more radically in the last twenty-five years than marketing. The dominance of the web has brought cycles of revolution and constant change for businesses of all sizes. Keeping up with these changes can, in some instances, mean the difference between survival and extinction for some business owners. The Marketing Roundtable is proposed to spot the trends which are continually reshaping the way businesses market and give business owners and marketers the tools to thrive in 2025 (and beyond.) From tracking the development of AI tools and leveraging their power, to understanding which tactics are becoming obsolete, our goal is to give actionable, topical ideas to businesses whose success is dependent on good marketing. We'll also occasionally cover the OG marketing skills - such as speaking and networking - which still are essential for, especially, referral based professional service businesses. Each month will focus on an important topic, either trending or evergreen. We will rely on a rotating stable of experts to present their given topic, with either a Q&A or breakout groups following the talk/presentation. Our presenters will be drawn from both the local and national pools of marketing talent. ____________________________________ The Marketing Roundtable is a hybrid event that requires you to RSVP as an in person or virtual attendee by the Monday prior to the meeting. If you have any issues accessing your Zoom link, please call the Member Experience team at 215-567-6510 and we will be happy to help! If you're interested in registering after registration closes, please email Regina Watson, ClubLife Concierge at Regina.Watson@invitedclubs.com.
